Just wanted you to know. We had a problem in our new OR Room with Code Blue and Emergency Assist Buttons. The problem was small, but was escalated out of my control. Rob recently installed the newest part of our nurse call buildout on our 4th floor. That job is now complete.
Post installation, our facilities team does inspection work for firewall penetrations, proper cabling through trays, and other items I am not completely familiar with. What I do know is that hospitals are subject to Joint Commission inspections that entail the work of vendors whom pull cable within the hospital facility.
I just received a note from our facilities inspection team who complimented the excellent work that Rob and his team did on our 4th floor install. Everything was done to regulations as required. They even commented that maybe we should have Comm-Tronics install our other cable runs.
So thank you. And know that doing the job correctly and professionally does make a difference.

Rob was our installer for the call bell system in the Emergency Department. Rob was very accommodating in working around the ED volumes. He adjusted his schedule to do the installation during the night shift to avoid disruption of patient care during our peak volumes on days. He informed myself or the charge nurse each morning of what rooms he would need closed and what to expect each night. He took time to explain the system, how it worked etc., to the staff after working all night. He was always polite and courteous to staff and respectful of the patients in the department while working.
